Equity Bank will carry out system maintenance on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Equity Bank has informed its customers that the “send money to other banks” service will be temporarily unavailable for six hours as the lender conducts routine system maintenance. The disruption will run from 10:00 pm on Tuesday, September 23, until 4:00 am on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
The interruption will affect transactions through the Equity Mobile App, Equity Online, EazzyBiz, Equitel, and the USSD code *247#. However, all other services will remain operational.
In a public notice, Equity apologised for the inconvenience caused and assured customers that the maintenance is part of efforts to enhance service reliability.
“We regret any inconvenience caused,” the bank said in its statement.
The lender further urged clients to be cautious of fraudsters, noting that its official communication comes only from the verified line 0763 000 000.
