Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has urged couples to consider taking a DNA test right after the birth of a child.
Sonko further took the matter to his official X (formerly Twitter) account, stating that “DNA tests should be mandatory after birth.”
Sonko made his X post while reacting to news regarding a former Real Madrid player who had even tattooed his son’s name on his arm, only to later find out that the child was not his.
He revealed that waiting only hurts the man and makes him waste a lot of time and resources on a child that is not his.
On the other hand, taking the test at birth ensures that the man is saved from some of these unnecessary expenses and future drama.
