On Sunday, FC Barcelona beat Real Madrid 3-2 at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, with Raphinha scoring twice and Robert Lewandowski also netting.

The Spanish Super Cup final was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday evening, in which Barcelona defeated arch-rivals Real Madrid.

The match started at a fast pace, and Barcelona were the first to score when Raphinha sent the ball into the opponent’s goal.

However, El Clasico got going in the first half when the teams scored three goals in four minutes: Vinicius Junior equalized with a great solo effort in the second minute of injury time, and two minutes later Robert Lewandowski lifted the ball over the Real goalkeeper, but the score was still tied at half-time as Gonzalo Garcia managed to hit the ball over the bar after a corner kick.

After the half-time break, the game continued at a furious pace, with many yellow cards being issued, but Raphinha decided the game in the 73rd minute, with another goal giving Barcelona a 3-2 lead.

Barcelona had to finish the game with 10 men when Frenkie de Jong was sent off in the first minute of extra time, but Barcelona came through and won their 16th Super Cup title in club history. It was also the first time since 2011 that a team had won the Super Cup in consecutive years.

Barcelona have won three consecutive finals against Real Madrid, having not lost to their home rivals since October 26. The next El Clasico will be held in the Spanish top flight on May 10.
