A man gives his sperm to his sister and then becomes the baby’s biological father and uncle.

Adam Zayden, 25, gave his sperm to his sister Jade, 29, and her wife Eefje, 30. This made it possible for them to start a family after they had been looking for a donor for three yea

Brother becomes a sperm donor to her sister

Since 2018, the couple has been trying to get pregnant but had a lot of problems.

A lot of potential donors insisted on getting pregnant on their own, which made their trip more difficult emotionally.

Because Adam was ready to help, they worked together for months, and in June 2022, Eefje got a positive pregnancy test.

baby born

Their baby was born on March 18, 2023. Adam became both the biological father and the uncle, whom they lovingly called “bibi.”

Adam, a social media star from Newham, London, said about his choice: “They were so fed up with the donor process that it seemed like the right and easiest thing to do.” “This whole thing has brought me so much closer to my sister and her partner,” he said.

Jade, a scholar and developer, and Eefje, a veterinarian, were found to have a child together.

Emotional rollercoaster

“Emotional rollercoaster” was how Jade put it when looking for a donor: “You’re opening yourself up at the most vulnerable times.”

You’re letting people into your life. Then, you need people to help you achieve one of your biggest dreams. In line with these thoughts, Eefje said, “You’re also being exposed to a lot of possible hate.” Whether you’re sharing your story or looking for a donor, that’s true.

Unfortunately, the couple’s insurance in Amsterdam did not cover IVF, which made it even harder for them to find a donor.

Even worse, a lot of the eligible donors were set on getting pregnant sexually instead of through intracervical insemination (ICI).

One giver even broke his promise by insisting on a natural birth, which Jade and Eefje could never have.

Beg for his sperm

The couple finally went to Adam to beg for his sperm because they were sick of being let down by fake donors.

Adam remembered, “They had joked before that I should give them mine, but I didn’t know they were okay with that.”

“It wasn’t that big of a deal,” he said. It was one of the most accessible choices he’s ever made. As a gay person, I don’t see myself having children.

The three worked hard to get pregnant.

Between December 2021 and June 2022, the three worked hard to get pregnant.

Adam explained the steps: “During that week, Jade would walk the dog every night.” I would do my thing upstairs and then give Eefje the sperm. When Eefje finally got pregnant in June 2022, the test showed that she was.

And Jade was happy with the result: “Being with someone you know and trust was great because it’s such an emotional time.”
