For many parents in Kenya, seeing their children struggle in school is painful and confusing. Janet, a mother of three from Nakuru, went through this for years. Her children were intelligent and hardworking, but no matter how much effort they put into their studies, their results remained poor. Teachers complained that they were forgetful, easily distracted, and lacked confidence during exams. At home, Janet tried everything—private tuition, changing schools, strict study timetables, and constant encouragement—but nothing worked.
