Residents of Mbarara town, Uganda, were left in shock after a man known as Peter broke down in tears upon discovering that the child he had raised for over twenty years was not biologically his. For decades, Peter had been a devoted father. He paid school fees from nursery all the way to university, provided shelter, food, and emotional support, and proudly introduced the young man as his own son to friends and relatives.
Peter’s marriage, however, had never been peaceful. His wife was secretive, defensive, and often disrespectful. Over the years, Peter ignored many red flags in the name of love and responsibility.
