Late gospel singer Betty Bayo’s daughter, Sky Victor, has warmed hearts online after sharing an adorable video of herself enjoying a shopping trip with her stepfather, Hiram Gitau, popularly known as Tash.
The charming clip, posted on Sky’s social media, shows the teenager seated in the front passenger seat as Tash drives her to the store.
Smiling and relaxed, Sky recorded moments from their ride, captioning it simply as a shopping outing.
The light-hearted exchange quickly drew praise from Kenyans, who commended the strong bond she shares with her stepdad.
Tash married the late Betty Bayo in a traditional ceremony in 2021, years after she and her ex-husband, Pastor Kanyari, went their separate ways.
Bayo and Kanyari had two children together Sky and her younger brother, Danny and continued to co-parent amicably, often appearing together during family moments.
Following Bayo’s heartbreaking passing in November, debates erupted online over who would take custody of the children.
A viral TikTok livestream showed Kanyari lamenting that he was struggling to access his children and accusing Tash of wanting to maintain limited visits similar to earlier arrangements with Bayo.
Despite the tension, Sky recently appealed to Kenyans to respect both her fathers, emphasising that she loved them equally and wanted peace within her family.
The new video appears to reflect a sense of calm, at least on her end, as she continues spending time with both sides of her family.
