Detectives are probing a chilling incident in Kamulu, Ruai, after a bodaboda rider and his passenger abandoned the body of a man at Afya Precise Hospital before fleeing.
Witnesses said the two arrived on Sunday morning and claimed the man needed urgent medical care. They helped staff move him to the emergency section, but vanished immediately afterwards.
Medical staff discovered the man was already lifeless. A closer check revealed a stab wound on the left side of his chest.
Police found an ID card in his pocket identifying him as Augustine Muteti, 32. His body was later moved to the mortuary, awaiting a postmortem.
