Just days after leading Chelsea to Club World Cup glory with two goals and an assist in the final against PSG, Cole Palmer is making headlines off the pitch over possible relationship woes.
Palmer, 23, and his girlfriend Connie Grace, a Manchester-based influencer and nail technician, have unfollowed each other on Instagram and wiped out all their shared photos—fueling speculation that the couple has split.
Despite travelling to the U.S. during Chelsea’s tournament, Grace was notably missing during the pitch-side celebrations with other players’ partners at MetLife Stadium. This absence has raised more questions among fans.
Palmer had previously shared excitement about reuniting with Grace after a solo trip to his ancestral homeland, St Kitts and Nevis. During the visit, he received a warm welcome, even meeting the country’s Prime Minister. Meanwhile, Grace was spotted enjoying Miami, sharing solo snaps online.
The pair reportedly began dating at 17 and made their relationship public in November 2023. In March, Grace gushed about Palmer’s down-to-earth nature, telling the media:
“Cole now is still the same Cole that I met when I was 17… He’s still laid-back Cole. He is only just bothered about scoring goals and doing well for his team, doing well for his country, and you’ve got to love him for that.”
Palmer is currently enjoying his summer break after a standout season where he scored 18 goals and provided 14 assists, helping Chelsea clinch the Europa Conference League. The Blues begin their pre-season shortly with matches against Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan before facing Crystal Palace on August 17 in their Premier League opener.
