Arsenal and Chelsea have agreed in principle on Madueke’s transfer for just over £50 million.
Arsenal are closing in on signing Chelsea winger Noni Madueke in a deal worth slightly over £50 million. Talks between the two London clubs have progressed quickly, and both sides now have an agreement in principle.
Madueke has already agreed personal terms with Arsenal, and only the final contract details are left before the move is sealed.
Madueke, who is part of Chelsea’s squad at the ongoing Club World Cup, came off the bench during their 2-0 win over Fluminense that secured their spot in the final. He is expected to complete the move once the tournament ends.
Since joining Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023, the England international has scored 20 goals in 92 appearances.
He began his career at Tottenham Hotspur’s academy before making a name for himself in the Netherlands with PSV.
