Bob Vylan Faces Potential U.S. Visa Denial

A senior official from the U.S. State Department stated, “As a reminder, under the Trump administration, the U.S. government will not issue visas to any foreigner who supports terrorists.”

The British punk-rap group Bob Vylan, known for leading chants such as “Free, free Palestine” and “Death, death to IDF” during their recent performance at the Glastonbury Music Festival, may face entry restrictions into the United States due to these actions.

According to the senior official speaking with The Daily Wire, plans are already underway to consider revoking Bob Vylan’s visas in light of their upcoming tour across approximately 20 cities in America, including major locations like Washington, D.C.

The BBC aired Bob Vylan’s set without editing but chose not to broadcast Irish hip-hop group Kneecap’s performance, which also included pro-Palestinian sentiments, citing adherence to editorial standards.

A spokesperson from the BBC described Bob Vylan’s statements as “deeply offensive,” indicating that there are no intentions to feature this performance on its iPlayer streaming service.

During their Glastonbury set, vocalist Bobby led chants including “Free, free Palestine” and “Death, death to the IDF,” declaring “Hell yeah, from the river to the sea, Palestine must be; it will be free inshallah.”

In reaction to this performance, StopAntisemitism—a privately-funded American advocacy organization—has urged for Bob Vylan’s visas to be revoked prior to their scheduled concerts in the U.S. for their Inertia Tour. They have performances lined up in over a dozen major cities across America.

“This antisemite must have his visa denied/rescinded – his hate is not welcome here,” wrote StopAntisemitism on X while referencing Bobby.
