Employees at the TV station owned by Royal Media Services toasted her stint earlier this week by cutting a cake in advance of her planned departure.

After returning from the US ten years ago, Victoria Rubadiri talks candidly about her struggles to fit in.

 

Over the weekend, she is scheduled to make her final appearance on Citizen TV, where she will bid farewell to an amazing career that is coming to an end and beginning a new one.

An anonymous source claims that Rubadiri will be joining CNN as their correspondent for Africa.

After she leaves, Citizen TV is expected to undergo a reorganization; rumors have it that the media outlet is preparing in the background to find a replacement for her.

For six years, Rubadiri hosted a number of shows on Citizen TV, including Saturday’s Citizen Weekend.

She also gracefully, elegantly, and poisedly graced the screens on Sunday Live with Jeff Koinange.

Her ability to conduct in-depth research and present captivating features, along with her exceptional storytelling skills, made her a popular figure among viewers.

A number of honors have also been given to her in appreciation of her outstanding journalism, including the 2020 BBC World News Komla Dumor Award.

She participated in a three-month training program in order to become a three-month member of the News team and attend a BBC Academy training program.

Many journalists have left Citizen TV in recent months; some have gone on to work for competing outlets, while others have advanced their careers with major worldwide media outlets like CNN and the BBC.
