Trump Says He’ll Get Out Of Jail By…

Amid Attorney General Merrick Garland’s testimony before Congress, former President Donald Trump unleashed a barrage of video rants on Trump Social, focusing on what he deemed as “WITCH HUNT” accusations aimed at President Joe Biden and Garland. Trump’s videos, often in all-caps, expressed his discontent with ongoing legal battles and investigations against him. He labeled himself a “political prisoner” but vowed to be “free” on November 5th to “make America great again.”

Trump’s narratives in the videos echoed themes of victimhood and alleged injustice, claiming his civil rights were violated and calling the legal proceedings “unconstitutional” and “election-interfering.” He accused the DOJ and White House, particularly President Biden, of orchestrating a witch hunt against him for political gain.

Moreover, Trump criticized the DOJ’s raid on Mar-a-Lago as illegal and claimed Biden posed a more significant threat to democracy than himself. He urged his supporters to vote on November 5th, implying it would mark a turning point for the country. Throughout the videos, Trump reiterated his innocence and portrayed himself as a victim of a politically motivated campaign.

“I AM THE POLITICAL PRISONER OF A FAILING NATION, BUT I WILL SOON BE FREE, NOVEMBER 5TH, AND MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” read one, while another blared “MY CIVIL RIGHTS HAVE BEEN TOTALLY VIOLATED WITH THIS HIGHLY POLITICAL, UNCONSTITUTIONAL, AND ELECTION INTERFERING WITCH HUNT. OUR FAILING NATION IS BEING LAUGHED AT ALL OVER THE WORLD!” and yet another blurted “UnConstitutional Raid of Mar-a-Lago!”

The videos contained falsehood-riddled and at times brief commentary, much of which was debunked by Garland at the hearing. The first, however, was debunked by Trump’s absence from jail — he is not a “prisoner” and is already “free”:

I AM THE POLITICAL PRISONER OF A FAILING NATION! BUT I WILL SOON BE FREE! ON NOVEMBER 5TH, THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY IN THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY. AND WE WILL TOGETHER MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. THANK YOU.

Hitting back at incumbent President Joe Biden, Republican Party’s presumptive presidential nominee Donald Trump issued a stern warning to his political opponents, hinting at the possibility of imprisoning them if he returns to the White House in November.

Trump’s remarks come after Biden, while addressing a crowd at a campaign event in Greenwich, Connecticut, asserted that Trump “wants you to believe it’s all rigged.”

The former president has dubbed the hush money case “rigged”, alleging Biden’s deliberate involvement in it ahead of the presidential elections.

The 81-year-old Commander-in-Chief has denounced Trump’s attempt to undermine the judiciary. During Monday rally, he asserted: “The facts are Donald Trump was given every opportunity to defend himself. It was a state case, even though he said Biden set this up, and not a federal case.”

Last week, a Manhattan jury found Trump guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying company documents to hide a hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential elections.
