A Metro Police officer from Durban fatally stabbed his fiancée, who is also a Metro Police officer, and then published the recordings he shot of her dying.
A 27-year-old man is under arrest by Durban Central police after it is claimed that he stabbed his fiancée inside a flat on Joseph Nduli Street early on Sunday, March 31, 2024.
The victim was reportedly being served booze by the man when he fatally stabbed her.
Additionally, it is said that the suspect recorded and photographed the woman, sending them to a number of recipients and sharing them on social media.
It is unclear what may have preceded the stabbing, even if the suspect’s conduct may be linked to his usage of alcohol and other drugs. Tuesday is when the suspect is scheduled to appear in court.
