Nigerian President Bola Tinubu stumbles on Democracy Day.

The president’s special assistant Dada Olusegun called it trivial.

He fell after missing a step as he entered the parade’s ceremonial inspection truck.

However, his security men and aides soon helped him stand.

The head of state waved to the crowd and continued with the day’s proceedings in a newsaih.com video.

While confirming the occurrence, President’s special assistant Dada Olusegun called it insignificant.

“Mr. President tripped while climbing into the truck on June 12 for Democracy Day. A minor mistake. He continued ceremonial rounds immediately. He commented on his X page, “No problems.”

Nigeria celebrates Democracy Day on June 12, 1993, to mark the return of democracy.
