A man identified as James from Tanzania revealed how he married his sister without him knowing that they were siblings. They have four children together who are healthy.
James and his wife Adeline were born to one father and one mother. Unfortunately, when they were still young, their parents passed away through a road accident.
Their grandmother who was not well off took them in but since she couldn’t manage to educate both of them, she gave out Adeline to a good samaritan who offered to help her raise the kids.
Adeline grew up in a far village and was not taken back to her grandmother’s house. After completing their studies, they met in a nearby town where they were both working.
They became friends and later lovers. When Adeline fell pregnant, they decided to move in together as husband and wife. They took long before introducing each other to their relatives.
After delivering their thirdborn, they decided to officiate their marriage. They invited their relatives but when James’ relatives, heard about Adeline’s background they were all shocked.
They realized that they were siblings, and they were asked to separate but their love bond and their having 3 kids together made them choose between sticking together.
They officiated their marriage and gave birth to their fourth born later. Their greatest fear is that their kids might end up marrying other relatives but they have decided of trying to find all their relatives and introducing their kids to them.
They have urged parents or guardians to introduce their kids to their relatives and siblings if they happen to be raised in separate homes to avoid a similar situation.
