Following the unfortunate death of a 45-year-old woman by her husband during a church service preaching at Makonde Shadani hamlet on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at approximately 18:00, Thohoyandou Police have initiated a large manhunt.
“The culprit allegedly entered the building while the congregation was praying and mercilessly shot the victim many times, causing her premature death.
“After the disgusting conduct, the suspect—whose age is yet unknown—left the area in a silver-grey Toyota Corolla. Domestic violence cannot be completely ruled out, even though the reason for this horrible incident is yet unknown, according to Colonel Malesela Ledwaba.
Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, the provincial commissioner for Limpopo, has denounced the incident and asked the police to find and apprehend the culprit as soon as possible.
