Trump is bleeding through his right ear.

About six o’clock in the evening, Trump started speaking. He was surrounded by security guards and had blood on his right ear. As he gave his first pump to the audience, they hurried him off the stage.

As soon as the Republican Party candidate began speaking, the former president was surrounded by Secret Service agents, who hurried him off the stage.

Trump is safe

The secret service has informed reporters that the “former President is safe,” nevertheless.

Secret Service agents warned reporters, “This is an active crime scene,” and instructed them to leave.

“We saw a lot of people go down, looking confused,” said Franklin, Pennsylvania resident John Yeykal, who was at his first Trump event. The sounds of the gunfire seemed to be a small-caliber handgun and firecrackers when I heard them.

Additionally, according to the White House, President Biden has been informed about the situation.

Shooter is dead

District Attorney Richard A. Goldinger of Butler County has announced that the shooter is dead.

According to Goldinger, there is “confirmed death” of one bystander and “possibly death of a second.”

A motorcade escorted Trump away. He entered the SUV and raised a fist.

In a statement, the Trump campaign said, “President Trump expresses gratitude to law enforcement and first responders for their prompt action during this horrific crime.

Trump admitted at local medical facility.

He’s at a nearby medical facility being monitored, but he seems fine. We’ll release more information later.

President Biden’s concern and other politicians

Around 8:15 p.m. ET, President Biden spoke to the country. He stated that although he hasn’t talked to Trump yet, he is attempting to contact him and intends to do so tonight.

“In America, this kind of violence has no place. It is ill. It’s ill, Mr. Biden declared.

A reporter questioned the president if he thought there was an attempt against his life.

“I don’t know enough to — I have an opinion, but I don’t have any facts,” Biden stated. “So I want to make sure I have all the facts before I make any more comments.”

“I have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania,” said Mr. Biden in a statement released earlier by the White House.

Hearing that he is secure and doing well makes me happy. I’m praying for him, his family, and everyone else who attended the event while we wait for more details. The Secret Service saved his life, and Jill and I are thankful for that. Such violence has no place in the United States of America. To denounce it, we must come together as a nation.”

According to a representative of the Biden campaign, all outgoing communications are being paused while efforts are made to remove the television advertisements swiftly.

Numerous prominent political figures from both parties swiftly denounced the incident.

“Doug and I are relieved that he is not seriously injured,” Vice President Kamala Harris stated. Our thoughts and prayers are with him, his family, and everyone else hurt or affected by this horrible shooting. This kind of violence has no place in our country. We all must denounce this heinous act and do our share to prevent more acts of violence.”

“Political violence of any kind has no place in our society,” tweeted Representative Nancy Pelosi, “as one whose family has been the victim of political violence.” God be praised; former President Trump is safe. As additional information regarding this horrific event becomes available, let us hope that everyone present at the former president’s rally today is uninjured.”

Pennsylvania’s Democratic governor, Josh Shapiro, stated on X that “violence directed towards any political party or political leader is completely intolerable.” Pennsylvania and the United States are not the right places for it. I’ve been informed about the circumstances. In cooperation with our federal and local colleagues, @PAStatePolice are currently on the scene in Butler County.”

Donald Trump Jr. tweeted a photo of his father after the incident and wrote, “He’ll never stop fighting to Save America.”

North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, considered a possible choice for Trump’s running mate, posted on social media, “Please join Kathryn and me in praying for President Trump, his family and everyone attending the rally today.”

Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, another potential VP candidate, tweeted, “Praying for President Trump and all those attending the rally in Pennsylvania today.”

Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio, also on the VP shortlist, wrote, “Everyone joins me in praying for our President Trump and everyone at that rally. I hope everyone is ok.
