According to Blantyre police, the incident occurred on 01/03/2024 at around 1130 a.m. at PVHO along Clock Tower HHI Road in the City of Blantyre, Malawi.
Thokozani Mbewe Aged 29 of Village Mlanga TA Kapeni District Blantyre, Occupation business lady reported that Trust Kapila whose full particulars are not advised but is her boyfriend, pushed her out of his vehicle, which was in motion when she was confronting him on her pregnancy issue.
Thokozani is 3 months pregnant for the man, and on 29/02/2024 the suspect came to the house and took her to Lunzu, where they slept together, and during the night they were urging for the abortion of the pregnancy.
On 01/03/2024 they started off their journey back to the house, but on their way to the house, the issue of pregnancy resurfaced, and they argued again.
When they reached PVHO after Clock Tower Mall, the suspect held her by the neck and immediately opened her side door pushed her out of his vehicle which was in motion, and sped off.
Following the trail of well-wishers, she was brought to the Blantyre police station, where she was admitted after being referred to QECH for testing and treatment.
CID officers say investigations are underway to arrest the suspect.
