Eunice Phiri, an 18-year-old student, is being held by police in Chitipa for fatally stabbing her lover, France Mwalwanda, 21 years.
The two went out to drink, but they subsequently got into a fight because they couldn’t agree on when to return to school, according to a police source.
After France was stabbed in the back by Eunice with a knife, he was taken to the hospital but passed away there.
The two were enrolled in Lufita’s Natu Private Secondary School.
