A vocal legislator sparks debate by posing tough questions following the crash of Gen. Ogolla’s plane.

Babu Owino wonders who would succeed him as the future General of the CDF, who will fill in for him, and whether there will be any consequences in 2027.

Politicians of all stripes have emerged firing to try and determine what went wrong and why, even before the death of Chief of Defence Forces General Dr. Francis Ogolla has had time to settle.

Kenyans are perplexed by the news and have begun to speculate as to what may have happened in relation to General Francis Ogolla’s passing.

Tough questions about the unexpected and strange death of CDF General Dr. Francis Ogolla have been posed, spearheaded by MP Hon. Babu Owino of Embakasi East.

Babu Owino posed eleven questions on his Facebook page that need to be answered in order for Kenyans to completely comprehend the circumstances surrounding the death of CDF General Francis Ogolla and the causes behind it.

Babu Owino poses a challenging query, questioning why a KDF officer with the rank of CDF General was assigned to examine schools. Wasn’t it his junior officers’ responsibility to complete that task?

In addition, Babu Owino wonders who would deputize him as the next CDF General, who will succeed him, and whether there will be any consequences in 2027.

“Our hearts may stop bleeding if all these questions can be resolved. If not, Mambo ni Tatu. Where was the commander of West Com? The Sgt Major of the Defense Forces was missing.

“Where was the commander of the Army? Why was a single helicopter being used by the whole CDF in an operative area without a 50ACB helicopter escort? Why was he alone with the junior officers?

Which rank ought to operate a CDF helicopter? When the CDF is about to examine his troops during an operation, who parades them for him? When a CDF visits an operation location, how many helicopters should it use?

Why did he visit a school alone, while his juniors did not? According to the Tonje Rules, who should be the next CDF and who should deputize him? Will that deputy have the position by 2027? Why did the KDF just undergo changes, and now Gen. Ogolla is dead? Post by Babu Owino on Facebook.11 queries raised following the passing of Francis Ogolla

The helicopter crash claimed the lives of ten persons, including Kenya’s military head.

The Air Force dispatches a team of investigators to determine the reason behind the crash that claimed General Francis Ogolla’s life.

The disaster occurred on Thursday at 2:20 PM (11:20 GMT) in Elgeyo Marakwet County, approximately 400 km (250 miles) northwest of Nairobi, the capital. General Francis Ogolla and other individuals were killed in the crash.

Shortly after taking off, the military plane that was visiting troops stationed in northwest Kenya to combat livestock rustling crashed close to Cheptulel Boys Secondary School in West Pokot County.

It took some time to determine what caused the crash.

Ruto declared during a press conference, “Our motherland has lost one of her most valiant generals.” “I am deeply saddened by General Ogolla’s passing.”

The president stated that an aviation investigation team had been dispatched to determine the reason of the event and that two troops had survived the crash and were being treated in a hospital.

Prior to becoming Ruto’s deputy military leader and eventually leading the military last year, Ogolla led the Kenyan air force.

According to a Ministry of Defence profile, the general enlisted in the military in 1984 and received training as an instructor pilot at the Kenyan Air Force as well as as a fighter pilot with the United States Air Force.

Ruto said Ogolla was part of a scheme to rig the results of the 2022 presidential election when he promoted him to the top military position a year earlier, despite Ogolla being the most qualified candidate.
