KwaZulu-Natal police have launched a manhunt in response to the horrifying discovery of a woman’s body in Northdale, Pietermaritzburg.
Colonel Robert Netshiunda, the provincial police spokesperson, stated that an inquiry is presently in progress.
“Mountain Rise police are looking into a murder case after a body of a 27-year-old woman was discovered on June 6 at Northdale, Pietermaritzburg. The dead is claimed to have received facial injuries, according to Netshiunda.
According to earlier reports, the deceased’s body was discovered by a group of kids, ages 8 to 10, who were playing in the street.
According to local responders Mi7, armed response teams and their advanced life support fast response unit were sent to the spot right away.
“They arrived at a scene where a woman was found dead, described as something out of a horror movie.” The woman’s eyes, ears, nose, and face skin were removed.
According to Mi7, “based on the injuries, it appears that the woman was the victim of a horrific crime. Nevertheless, the autopsy and police investigation will be relied upon to confirm this.”
