Early on Monday, July 1, 2024, a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) helicopter crashed at Tami village, which is in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Locals were startled by a tremendous noise at around five in the morning, which made them run to the accident scene.
When they got there, they saw the pilot emerge from the debris, having followed emergency procedures to stay alive.
A local said, “A team of military officers from the Nigerian Air Force swiftly arrived at the scene to secure the area and conduct an initial investigation.”
To protect the residents’ safety and stop unwanted access, the cops roped off the crash site.
What Was The Cause of The Accident?
Initial investigations were conducted to ascertain the crash’s cause, which is still a mystery.
The helicopter had technical issues during a routine operating flight, which ultimately resulted in the disaster.
Even though the incident was serious, no one died because of the pilot’s skillful management of the situation.
The Nigerian Air Force had not yet made an official comment about the disaster as of the time of reporting.
