Popular South African radio personality, Pabi Moloi is making headlines after her estranged husband took a swipe at her for allegedly delaying their divorce proceedings.
The two had a messy fallout in 2022. Against the divorce, the celebrated media personality downplayed reports that the two were legally married.
This came after her estranged husband, Ruan Adams, demanded half of her estate. He claimed that the two tied the knot in the community of property. Rumour mill has it that Adams is also trying to recoup the R25 000 lobola he paid—a spousal allowance of around R8 500.
The celebrated media personality reportedly owns several properties dotted around the leafy suburbs of Johannesburg. Some of her properties are reportedly in Fourways Noordwyk, Elton Hill, and Edenburg. There are also two houses in Waverly.
With their divorce still before the courts, Ruan Adams has taken a swipe at Moloi for stalling their divorce proceedings. He has it that the media personality allegedly bribed his lawyers, which has taken a toll on the proceedings.
Adams alleges that his lawyer, Lutendo Siphuma of SL Attorneys, had received a disclosed amount from Moloi or her lawyers. However, all this was contained in a letter Siphuma wrote to Moloi’s lawyers. He revealed that he received several threats and was withdrawing as Adams’s attorney.
Moloi is dubbed one of the wealthiest media personalities, and Pabi Moloi’s estranged husband once mentioned it in his court papers. No doubt the two have often hogged headlines with their nasty fallout.
