Police at Manchester Airport shocked and kicked the man while pointing tasers at him.
Before he was caught, the man had miscued three police officers.

“While trying to arrest one of the people involved in the earlier fight, three police officers were attacked and punched to the ground.
Man overpowers police officers.
A female cop broke her nose, taking all three to the hospital to get better.
Since the police officers who were there were trained to deal with guns, there was a clear chance that their weapons would be taken away during the attack.
Meanwhile, an armed police officer has been taken off the airport working area after a video showed him hitting a man in the face while arresting him at Manchester Airport.
Shocking incident
A senior officer from Greater Manchester Police said the event was “truly shocking” and people were “rightly extremely concerned” about it.
The cop pointed his Taser at the man and then kicked him hard in the face and stomped on his head, according to a video that went viral online on Wednesday.
An ex-chief crown prosecutor named Nazir Afzal said on X that he didn’t think the officer’s actions were “justified” and should be “explained and held accountable.”
On Wednesday night, Wasim Chaudhry, a deputy chief constable for the GMP, said, “We know that a film of an incident at Manchester Airport that is going around shows something truly shocking, and people are rightly apprehensive about it.” Police using this much force during an arrest is not shared, and we know it causes concern.
We were called to reports of an assault at Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2 at 8:25 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23—before the available video showed what happened. The suspect was seen on CCTV at a parking lot ticket machine, and police went to the scene to arrest him.
Arrested for assault
“Two men have been arrested on suspicion of assault, assault of an emergency worker, affray, and blocking police. Additionally, two more guys have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and battery on a firefighter.
An IOPC spokesperson said, “We understand that Greater Manchester Police are making a voluntary referral. Once we receive it, we will look at it and decide what else we need to do.”
It is said that the Home Office asked for an account of what happened. The policing minister, Dame Diana Johnson, wrote on X, “I am aware of disturbing footage from an incident at Manchester airport this afternoon and understand why it has caused concern in the public.” I’ve asked the Greater Manchester cops for a full report.
Amar Minhas from Leeds said he saw what happened after getting off the plane. Police told one of the guys, who was in his early 20s that he was wanted before “pinching him up against a wall,”
Minhas said that after that, another man “started on the police,” which led to a fight. He said this man began “throwing punches, he was Tasered, and he fell to the floor.” What happened next? The police officer kicked him.
Former Labour Party national executive committee member Howard Beckett called what the cop did “the most brutal of assaults” and “thuggery in uniforms.”
