The third wife of King Misuzulu kaZwelithini is expected to be Nomzamo Myeni.
Myeni and the King have had a romantic relationship for a while.
According to sources, Myeni and the people she met worked at Nedbank in Jozini, KwaZulu-Natal.
Later, she left Nedbank and began working in the King’s private office.
If my memory serves me well, they have been dating for more than two years, the person added.
The news was made on Tuesday during a meeting at the kwaKhangelamankengane royal palace in Nongoma by the King’s Prime Minister, the Reverend Thulasizwe Buthelezi.
“Your Highnesses, the Myeni royal family in Jozini is where the King discovered the exquisite rose.” On May 5, 2024, he has given me instructions to ask every member of the royal family to attend him in order to pay lobola to the Myenis,” Buthelezi stated.
The announcement coincides with the split between King Misuzulu and Queen Nozizwe Mulela, his estranged second wife.
Public signs of their tension included the King’s refusal to welcome or acknowledge anyone other than Queen Ntokozo kaMayisela-Zulu, his first wife.
Due to his actions, prominent Zulu royals attempted to get the attention of King Mswati III of Eswatini, the King’s uncle, but all efforts were unsuccessful.
When Queen Mulela’s attempt to mend her marriage to the King failed, she was forced to return to Eswatini.
According to sources, she unexpectedly showed up at the KwaNkomonye royal residence in Ulundi, but the King told her to go back to Eswatini after declining to see her.
Following the introduction of the lobola on Tuesday, the King presided over a group of traditional chiefs in a sod-turning ceremony for his upcoming new palace in Nongoma.
