“I’ve invested and empowered my woman so that she can take care of me even if I go broke today.”– Wode May
Wode Maya, a Ghanaian YouTuber and vlogger, disclosed in an interview with KSM that he has put so much faith in his wife that she will be able to support him in the event that he goes bankrupt.
According to Wode Maya, he deliberately invested in his wife, Trudy, to ensure that she was raised to be an independent woman so that she would be there for him in the event of a crisis. He went on to say that he thinks men should empower their women so they can contribute to life outside of just sex and that she won’t have to rely on them all the time. He offered the example of a time when they needed to buy certain items for their house and he merely gave his wife money for them.
He was shocked to discover that the items he had purchased were worth more than what he had paid my wife.
He said he knew he had made an investment in her independence so she could afford whatever she wanted to buy, therefore he didn’t need to ask where she got the extra money to buy the items.
He stated that it’s time for men to take an interest in their wives so they won’t have to rely on them entirely.
