DJ Tira robbed and loses everything at Afrotainment studios.

For information about robberies at his studio, DJ Tira is offering a prize of R20,000.

After burglars broke into his Durban studios on Wednesday night, South African popular music producer and businessman DJ Tira is calculating significant losses.

More than a million dollars’ worth of speakers, sound system, and pricey musical instruments were taken by the robbers.

DJ TIRA’S MAJOR LOSS

The robbers broke into the studio at night, according to Samkelo Mpisane, the office manager.

He stated they entered the studio-turned-stand-alone dwelling by breaking through the fence. “They took everything – you can tell that they have been planning this robbery,” he continued.

Samkelo stated that the harm extends beyond mere monetary worth. He claimed that even Afrotainment performers, such as Bulo and Dladla Mshunqisi, had lost their unreleased songs that were kept on laptops and hard drives. He claimed their plans have been delayed by the break-in. “We had so many things planned and this has set us back big time,” he said.

A R20,000 REWARD IS AVAILABLE

For anyone who comes forward with information that results in the arrest of the criminals and the successful recovery of the stolen instruments, the DJ has also given a reward. Tira stated that in order to get his equipment back, he would be willing to give anyone with information R20,000. DJ Tira was in Johannesburg’s Maboneng Precinct on Wednesday night when the incident happened. When contacted for feedback, a damaged Tira expressed his heartbreak to ZiMoja and expressed his hope that the community and police could assist. The fact that the robbery has an impact on his artists, he claimed, hurts his heart even more. “What hurts the most is the fact we lost music and some of our artists were preparing to release their albums soon and all their efforts are gone just like that,” he said.

TIRA WAS UNAVAILABLE TO THEM.

A person familiar with the case claims that during the break-in, the cameras were not operational. According to the source who spoke with ZiMoja, Tira and his group believe that the robbers took advantage of the circumstance because they knew the cameras were broken. “No stranger can jump and break a gate, these are the people who know Tira’s whereabouts and the fact that cameras were not working,” the person continued. Reportedly, Tira has already hired private detectives due to the substantial expenses he incurred in establishing his business, including purchasing pricey equipment and converting his former residence into a studio.

Expensive equipment was taken from another recording studio during a break-in.

At Deep London’s apartment studio in Ruimsig, Roodepoort, there has been another studio robbery. Systems for recording were taken.

For this reason, he appeals to the public for help in identifying the perpetrators of the equipment theft. Any information that results in the culprits being apprehended is eligible for a prize of R10,000.
