“The gamble that ODM chief Raila Odinga has emerged as one of President William Ruto’s closest confidants in the wake of the ongoing anti-governmental protests is not in doubt. The two are said to be meeting regularly, with their discussions centred on pacifying the country and the formation of a broad-based government.” The newspaper wrote on Friday.
