ZiMoja reports that Sello Maake kaNcube and his spouse Pearl Mbewe-Maake kaNcube participated in a real-life drama at the Eastern Cape’s Grahamstown Arts Festival more than a week ago.
Sello was in Grahamstown to take part in a theater production of The Suit, which he had seen at the Market Theatre thirty years earlier.
Ncubes altercation
After returning from the event, the Ncubes got into fights, and there was screaming and swearing, according to a close source who was also there and stayed at the same hotel. “Swearing and yelling at Sello was Pearl. She showed up the following morning with a fractured lip and a black eye, the insider claimed.
“The situation is so bad that Sello left his wife behind while she was in pain after the altercation,” the person continued. ”The cause of the most recent altercation is unknown”
The Ncubes appear to bicker like teenagers behind closed doors, but when they are together, they always put up a unified front, according to insiders with knowledge about the famous couple who spoke to ZiMoja.
is Sello stuck in the marriage?
ZiMoja found out that Pearl returned home the day after her husband had abandoned her alone in the Eastern Cape. “She had to make means to fly back to Jozi on her own and find her way home from the airport,” according to a source. According to a different source, Sello feels stuck in the marriage because Pearl is taking care of him and getting him nice deals.
“That man feels trapped in that marriage because Pearl knows a lot about him and she has people who will always clean her image while portraying him as a villain,” said a source. “Why is it that every time something is happening between my husband and I, there are sources who are telling you our problems?” a furious Pearl exclaimed in response to ZiMoja’s request for comment.
She added that they were seated together when we called, but she refused to allow us to talk with Sello via video conference.
“You know the kind of husband I am married to won’t allow that,” she replied. Sello disregarded our texts and phone calls.
